Ocean Grove Boat Ramp: 

Barge Craning Operations

Temporary Boat Ramp Closure

 

Date: Effective from 3 February 2025

 

Details:
Mariners and boat ramp users are advised of barge craning works being
undertaken at the Ocean Grove Boat Ramp at approximate location (WGS84)
38°15.768’S 144°30.478’E.

Proposed works will include, cranes on boat ramp, on-water plant and vessels.

Boat ramp will be closed between 8am-10am, Monday 3 February 2025 during craning operations.

Barge will be jacked up on the northern side of the western floating pontoon at
Ocean Grove Boat Ramp and left in place for a period of approximately three
weeks to allow for loading of navigational aids and equipment.

Barge details are as follows: GEMINAE UVI1461535, 6.4m length x 3.2m beam.

Mariners and boat ramp users are advised not to use the boat ramp during the specified boat ramp closure period.
