Barwon Heads promenade staircase reopens

We’re pleased to share that the new staircase linking the Barwon Heads Caravan Park to the Barwon Heads promenade reopened on Friday 12 September.

The new staircase currently has wooden handrails, with stainless steel handrails for improved safety and accessibility to be installed once materials become available.

These works are part of our commitment to camper and community safety, as well as our ongoing program of improvements in the area, including new riverfront cabins and other visitor facility upgrades.

Thank you to the community for your patience and understanding while we complete these important improvements.
