As part of ongoing car park beach access upgrades at 13th Beach at the Corner (formerly known as 30W), the next phase of works will begin on Wednesday, 26 February 2025, with the replacement of car park bollards.

While the car park will remain open, some spaces may be limited. Works are expected to be completed by Friday, 28 February, weather permitting.

Once the bollards are in place, resurfacing of the coastal pathway between the beach access stairs will take place. These improvements have been scheduled to align with contractor availability and minimise disruption during the peak holiday season.

The removed, rotten treated pine bollards, which hold contaminants, will be disposed of according to the Environment Protection Act requirements.
