On Tuesday 16 May 2023 we held our monthly Barwon Coast Committee of Management meeting.

The meeting started with a training session from Arranyinha on unconscious bias and privilege and their impacts on First Nations people and communities.

During the May meeting, the following items were discussed:

  • The draft Caravan and Camping Precinct Master Plan, which will be released in coming months (keep an eye on our social media and website for updates)
  • An overview of operational updates including project and maintenance progress,
  • Consideration of twelve-month permit annual fees for 2023/24 (reviewed each year), and
  • A review of the Operational Services Agreement for our Local Port of Barwon Heads.

Overall it was a very productive meeting and the Committee looks forward to progressing these important projects.
