Barwon Coast Committee of Management today announced changes to the Breamlea General Store operations, with postal services to conclude on 5 May 2025.

Following comprehensive review and community engagement, this operational change will enable Barwon Coast to better focus on its core responsibilities as a Crown land manager, including coastal protection and asset maintenance across our 19 kilometres of coastline.

The General Store building will be repurposed as the Breamlea Caravan Park reception, continuing to provide essential retail services for park visitors.

Australia Post will be consulting directly with the Breamlea community regarding future postal service arrangements. Barwon Coast will support this process where appropriate.
