Plan ahead: Cadel Evans Great Ocean Road Race

The Cadel Evans Great Ocean Road Race will take place on Saturday 31 January and Sunday 1 February, with significant road closures across the coast, including Barwon Heads, Breamlea and Ocean Grove.

Visitors heading to the beach or staying at Barwon Coast Caravan Parks should allow extra travel time, as rolling road closures and delays will be in place during the event.

Breamlea

Affected roads: Thirteenth Beach Road, Blackrock Road, Bluestone School Road, Breamlea Road, Blackgate Road

  • Saturday 31 January: 1.00 pm to 2.20 pm
  • Sunday 1 February: 11.20 am to 12.40 pm

Barwon Heads and Ocean Grove

Affected roads: Wallington Road, Barwon Heads–Ocean Grove Road, Ewing Blyth Drive, Thirteenth Beach Road

  • Saturday 31 January: 12.55 pm to 1.45 pm
  • Sunday 1 February: 11.20 am to 12.05 pm
